Sterile surface swabs are an easy way to sample suspect areas for mould contamination or to detect Coliforms/E.coli (CEC) or Human Bacteroides following sewage ingress.

Simply swab the suspect area (usually an area 10 cm x 10cm) and submit to Eurofins within 48hours, where the sample can either be cultured for mould and bacteria, tested for coliforms and E.coli, or analysed via PCR for Human Bacteroides.

Each swab comes in an easy to use container for sampling, transport and storage.

Swabs have a limited shelf life, so please check the expiry date before sampling.

It is advisable to submit swabs to Eurofins refrigerated to allow for unexpected postal lag times.
