Viable Total Bacteria and Fungi Culturing
Eurofins Mould Testing is able to provide culturing services, utlising a variety of culturing methods and media to optimise growth of a range of organisms.
For fungal culturing, Eurofins Mould Testing uses at least 4 different agar media to provide optimal conditions for a variety of requirements of different moulds, including water activity, antibiotic selectivity, growth inhibitors and dyes.
Fungal culturing is performed over 7days to allow for growth, and total bacteria counts are provided within this result.
Viable samples can be processed from a number of sample types or matrices such as Bulk materials, swabs, liquid samples, direct air sampling onto agar plates (using specialised equipment available for hire), and Via-Cell cassettes.
